High Rescue on Mount Everest

During the spring of 2017,Nima Gyalzen Sherpa, Ang Tshering Lama, Jagbuy Sherpa, Pema Tsheri Sherpa and Mingma Chhiri Sherpa rescued two mountaineers, who were up in the death zone.

60-year-old Abdul Jabbar Bhatti and his 19-year old guide, Sherpa Dawa Sange reached the summit of Mount Everest but had oxygen problems during their descent.

Other teams passed them thinking they were dead until a Sherpa went to them and gave them much needed food and oxygen. It was then that the Sherpa’s decided to rescue the two mountaineers and bring them back to safety.
