The team had their Puja on the 15th April. It was quieter than usual because the teams Sherpas would be working hard the next morning.
This morning (16th April) 14 loaded Sherpas left Base Camp at 00.45 and climbed directly to Camp 2. Here they checked through the gear that was left in 2015.
The Sherpas working for Altitude Junkies each wears a personal avalanche transceiver and also carries a two-way radio. This means that Base Camp is in contact with them all the time.
The climbing team ventured into the Ice fall this morning accompanied by their personal Sherpa. This was an acclimatization trip so they only climbed until the sun came out before returning to the safety of Base Camp.
